This festive season saw our expert gardeners showing keen learners the art of Christmas willow wreath-making at Redcatch Community Garden.

Lou and Jan led 80 participants over multiple sessions through the intricacies of the craft, using sustainable seasonal foliage, garden-grown dried flowers, carefully-selected festive decorations and reworked willow!

The sessions took place in The Canopy where there were homemade festive treats, Christmas tunes and spiced mulled cider a-plenty to get attendees into the jolly mood.

One attendee said that they 'enjoyed every minute' and that they would '100% book again'. Another highlighted the expertise of our gardeners, saying that their 'support was invaluable' and they were 'great at explaining the process'. Go Lou and Jan!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all those who attended our workshops and to those who support RCG on a day-to-day basis. Each cup of coffee sold makes a difference: all profits are reinvested to support our community activities. We really couldn't do this without you!

The finished product!

Sending festive cheer and best wishes for a wonderful New Year from all of us here at Redcatch Community Garden!
