Safeguarding
At Redcatch Community Garden, we want everyone who visits, volunteers, or takes part in our activities to feel safe, respected and supported. Safeguarding is an essential part of how we operate, and we take our responsibility to protect children, young people and adults seriously.
This page brings together our core safeguarding policies so that our community, partners and visitors can easily access them.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
-
Creating a safe and welcoming environment for all
-
Preventing harm, abuse and neglect wherever possible
-
Responding quickly and appropriately to any safeguarding concerns
-
Ensuring all staff and volunteers understand their safeguarding responsibilities
-
Working in partnership with families, carers, local agencies and the wider community
What You’ll Find Here
Below you can read or download our current safeguarding policies. These documents explain how we keep people safe, the procedures we follow, and who to contact if you have a concern while at the garden.
If You Have a Concern
If you ever feel worried about someone’s safety during a visit or activity, please speak to a member of staff or contact our Designated Safeguarding Leads listed inside the policies. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and your voice can make a difference.
