We were excited to welcome friends from the Brunel's SS Great Britain who joined our sessions with Knowle Park School today to talk about the important role the SS Great Britain played in transporting botanical plant samples around the world.

Children then had the opportunity to make their own flowers to take home and form part of a beautiful art display which will feature on the ship.

It was a great way for everyone to engage with the history of our City in a unique and unexpected way and bring the SSGB to Knowle!

We will be carrying on the sessions with other school groups, making more flowers to gather into an enormous bunch for the SSGB display 💚🌼🌸
