Kate Swain

I am co-founder and CEO of RCG. I have passion and commitment to continuing to develop the Garden into a fantastic, sustainable asset for our community and share our learnings with organisations in Bristol and beyond.

I believe we all have a responsibility to ensure a sustainable future for nature and people. Before starting the Garden I worked as a Programme Manager for Carbon Reduction company and I bring this ethos to all we do at RCG.

I have strong business experience and a desire to try and learn new ways of supporting my community and I bring this spirit to our charity and social enterprise.

I describe my role as the best and worst thing I ever did, but nothing resonates with me more than Margaret Mead’s quote;
