About the event
The workshop will be led by The Natural History Consortium and Redcatch Community Garden. It will take place on Sunday 22nd October, 10:00-11:30am, at Redcatch Community Garden, Bristol.
The workshop is for all growers, no matter where you are on your journey to sustainable gardening. Perhaps you have tips to share on companion planting in your allotment or are keen to find out about how to encourage insect predators, all are welcome in this friendly interactive session.
During the workshop we will:
- Consider what chemical pesticides are and symbols to look out for
- Share tips and techniques on chemical free alternatives
- Contribute to a shared resource of tips and ideas for growers across the West of England
- Have a tour of Redcatch Community Garden and find out about their chemical free gardening techniques, led by Head Gardener Lou Matthews.
The workshop will take place outdoors and in The Canopy. Please come dressed for the weather!
