Art in the Garden Needs You

Over the past few years our weekly art group, Art in the Garden, has blossomed into a vibrant community of art-makers of all ages and abilities. Nestled in the Canopy amongst blooming flowers, lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature, the group provides a peaceful and inspiring setting for artistic exploration. At Art in the Garden, our aim is to provide an open and accepting space for anyone in the community to be mindful, get creative, collaborate and connect. Whilst we do offer free attendance, running Art in the Garden does incur costs, including for art materials, art therapists' fees, and maintenance of the garden space.

To cover these expenses and ensure the longevity of our art group, we rely on the generosity of our community. There are several ways you can support Art in the Garden and help us continue to provide this valuable space for creativity and wellbeing, if you are able. If you're attending a session and are able to make a donation, we suggest a contribution of £5 per session. Your donation directly supports the costs of running the group and ensures that we can continue to provide a nurturing environment for attendees. In addition, you can support us by visiting Roots, our on-site café. Every coffee you buy from Roots contributes to the funding of Art in the Garden - by enjoying a delicious beverage, you're also allowing someone else in our community to attend the group.

We understand that not everyone is able to make a financial contribution or buy a cuppa regularly. This is why attendance is free - the suggested donation is only for those who are able, and we don't want anyone to feel discouraged from attending. We believe that everyone should have access to the transformative power of art, regardless of their financial situation.

By attending our sessions, making a donation if you can, or enjoying a beverage at Roots, you're contributing to the sustainability and inclusivity of Art in the Garden. Together, we can continue to cultivate a space where art flourishes, minds find peace and connections are formed.

Art in the Garden runs on Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 am. To book a place or for more information please contact Jenny & Kaya at 07769 013243 or jenny@redcatchcg.com
