It's Christmaaaaaas!!!!

Fridays 3rd and 10th December

This is going to be great, the heated Canopy and our Head Chef Holly Perreau-Redfern's first Christmas at the Garden! Don't miss a lovely three-course festive meal (meat or vegan) showcasing some of our own produce and other local suppliers in the Canopy in the beautiful setting of the Community Garden. An event to be enjoyed with colleagues, friends, or family.

There will be a fire pit and mulled cider on arrival. Make your own crackers, enjoy festive music, and more!

The bar opens from 5.30 pm, (no BYO). We will have local ale from Twisted Oak Brewery, wine, prosecco, and festive cocktails. Dinner will be served at 6.30 pm.

This is a fundraising event and as always, all profits are reinvested into the Community Garden to fund our activities.

Tickets are £35 (includes booking fee). Wine/prosecco can be ordered in advance for your table in the "add on"

section when booking your tickets.

Christmas Markets

 

Ooh, we love a market! Join us on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November, 11 - 3.30 pm, for our local, sustainable, Christmas Market.

There will be stalls with gifts, jewellery, cosmetics, homewares, cards, etc.

We will selling our own homemade jar products, kimchi, cider vinegar, harissa, chilli sauce, etc as well our homemade wreaths, loofah soaps, and Christmas Trees (we didn't make them!)

There will be mulled cider, hot and cold food and Christmas tunes, we look forward to seeing you there!

Come to Redcatch Community Garden and make your own Christmas Willow Wreath!

You will be shown how to make a willow-based wreath using seasonal foliage with some carefully selected natural festive decorations. To help get the festive mood in full swing, Christmas tunes, homemade festive treats, and spiced mulled cider will accompany us – a perfect festive setting!

Workshops will be held in our beautiful Canopy structure.

Please bring secateurs if you have them!

Workshops are £25 per person.

 

We have 3 sessions:

Saturday 4th December: 2 - 4 pm

Sunday 5th December: 11- 1 pm and 2 - 4 pm

Santa and the Reading Reindeer

 

Come meet Santa and play some games with the Reading Reindeer.

We will finish off with a hot chocolate and Christmas cupcake and a gift from Santa!

Christmas Cinema Double Bill!

 

We have teamed up again with The Wandering Cinema to celebrate this merry season with a Christmas double bill on11th December

 

Our first screening Elf will bring festive fun, followed by the ultimate Christmas family classic Home Alone

We will have a bar and will also be serving mulled cider, chilli, Christmas treats, popcorn, hot drinks and all you need to keep you jolly and joyous.

 

Elf starts at 3.30pm (Gates open 3pm) Home Alone starts 6.30pm (Gates open 6pm) Everyone welcome! Don your Christmas jumper and we will see you there!
